U.S.A. CHANT

U.S.A. chant

Come on, come on!
U.S.A., U.S.A.,
It's a super place to visit.
U.S.A., U.S.A.
It's a super place to stay.
Let's go West, let's go West,
San Francisco's in the West
cable cars up and down
see the bay, hear that sound.

They came here in search of gold,
fought the Indians, settled down.
They built up their famous town
on the West Pacific coast.

Let's go East, let's go East,
New York's here in East
big skyscrapers up and down
see the lights, hear that sound.

Old Manhattan was an island
where the Indians lived in peace
till Dutch sailors traded it
for a bunch of 20 dollars.

Let's go South, let's go South,
here's Miami in the South
everglades up and down
see alligators, hear that sound.

If you pop in New Orleans
on the Mississipi river
you can listen to the music
of black people: blue and jazz.

Let's go North, let's go North,
see  Niagara in the North
waterfalls up and down
see this wonder, hear that sound.

Go by car, go by bike
take your skateboard or a plane
tour the country with your horse,
through the mountains, deserts, plains.

In the centre of the country
on the prairies green and wide
cowboys work on cattle farms
riding horses on a ranch.

Jazz and rap, rock and roll,
people play and sing their songs.
Different people, many races
play together, make that sound.

U.S.A., U.S.A.
It's a super place to visit.
U.S.A., U.S.A.
It's a super play to stay.

Song "A song for Britain"

 "A song for Britain"

London, London, London's great,
full of colours rich of people
coming here from everywhere
just to see it and its beauty.
If you go around the city
use a double-decker bus,
take the tube to Oxford street,
pop in Hyde Park
just to see
Peter Pan, the Serpentine,
lots of squirrels, ducks and trees.
Have you read,
have you read
of Robin Hood?

(repeated)

Britain, Britain, Britain's green,
full of meadows, castles, lakes,
bushes and flowers everywhere,
in the islands all around it.
Britain,Britain,Britain's green
full of tourists, rich in wool
with historical remains
telling how the people lived.
Celts and Romans, Britons, Vikings
they built villages, they built castles,
they loved countryside and woods,
they were Bishops, Hings and Queens,
Knights and archers, rich and poor.
Just to see
Peter Pan, the Serpentine,
lots of squirrels, ducks and trees.
Have you read,
have you read
of Robin Hood?

(repeated)

Song "Happy Easter Day"

Happy Easter World

Easter and spring
Together they sing
They sing for love
They sing for joy
They sing for peace
And for happiness, too.
They sing for peace
And for happiness, too.

Easter for the rich,
Easter for the poor,
Easter for the rich,
 Easter for the poor,
Happy Easter world today!

Fresh hot cross buns
And lovely Easter cards.
Ready for the girls
Ready for the boys
Cooking all the hot buns
And painting cards, too!
Cooking all the hot buns
And painting cards, too!

Easter for the rich,
Easter for the poor,
Easter for the rich,
 Easter for the poor.
Happy Easter world today!

Easter for the rich,
Easter for the poor,
Easter for the rich,
 Easter for the poor.
Happy Easter world today!

Song "Father's day"

Father's Day

Wherever you are,
Whatever you do,
Come and sing your song with me!
Father's day,
Father's day.

Wherever you are,
Whatever you do,
Come and sing your song with me!
Father's day,
Father's day.

Take me to school,
Have lunch with me,
I love you so, can't you see?
Run with me, jump with me
This is your festivity.

Wherever you are,
Whatever you do,
Come and sing your song with me!
Father's day,
Father's day.

Wherever you are,
Whatever you do,
Come and sing your song with me!
Father's day,
Father's day.

Come fly with me,
You're strong and free,
I love you so, I can't you see?
Walk with me, stay with me,
This is your festivity.

Wherever you are,
Whatever you do,
Come and sing your song with me!
Father's day,
Father's day.

Wherever you are,
Whatever you do,
Come and sing your song with me!
Father's day,
Father's day.
